About Tecnostamp Triulzi International Group (TecTriu)
Tecnostamp Triulzi International Group PTE. LTD. (TecTriu) is a global leader in mold making and the molding of thermoplastics and thermosets, with operations across Europe, America, and Asia. Headquartered in Singapore, TecTriu operates through five subsidiaries, including major production facilities in Carate Brianza (Italy), Gaggio Montano (Italy), Bacau (Romania), and Queretaro (Mexico), as well as Logosteel SRL, spanning over 60,000 square meters.
With a skilled team of more than 700 professionals, TecTriu delivers a broad range of value-added services, including precise assembly, traditional and UV painting, vacuum metallization, and laser marking, ensuring high quality standards for its global clientele.
Customer Challenges
Tecnostamp Triulzi needed to modernize its infrastructure to ensure high reliability, security, and operational efficiency across its global sites. The existing setup consisted of nine physical servers running outdated software (VMware 4). Each site operated independently, with different copies of services and data across locations, leading to complex infrastructure management and operational inefficiency.
To remain competitive and streamline operations, TecTriu needed to upgrade to a unified infrastructure that could centralize services, simplify management, and ensure consistent data access across all locations.
Sangfor Solution for Tecnostamp Triulzi
Tecnostamp Triulzi embarked on a phased infrastructure transformation, implementing Sangfor Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) to replace its traditional architecture. Beginning in 2021, three Sangfor HCI nodes were deployed at the Carate Brianza site, followed by three additional nodes at the Gaggio Montano site in 2022, and a further three at the Bacau site in 2023. Expansion continues, with three more nodes planned for the Mexico site in 2024.
TecTriu also deployed the Sangfor Cloud Platform (SCP) for centralized infrastructure management and disaster recovery (DR) and backups between sites. With the Sangfor solution, TecTriu consolidated its infrastructure from nine independent physical servers to 38 centrally managed virtual machines (VMs).
Solution Outcomes
- Centralized Management and Operational Efficiency: SCP allows TecTriu’s IT team to manage all sites from a single console, reducing operational complexity and enhancing system stability with consistent, unified management across locations.
- Improved Data Consistency and Reliability: By centralizing services and data, TecTriu ensures that all sites work with the same up-to-date information, enhancing operational efficiency and data integrity across its global facilities.
- Scalability and Resilience: Sangfor HCI allows TecTriu to expand easily by adding nodes as needed, providing a flexible, fault-tolerant platform to support growth. Disaster recovery and backup capabilities further protect operations across locations.
- Cost Savings: Transitioning to an HCI platform reduced maintenance costs, allowing TecTriu to reallocate resources to strategic growth areas while benefiting from Sangfor’s competitive pricing.
